# Raff MCP server

> Manage Raff from Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor and other AI assistants. Connect one URL, sign in with Raff, and ask in plain words to create databases, run SQL, read slow queries and more.

The Raff MCP server lets an AI assistant work in your Raff account. Connect `https://mcp.rafftechnologies.com/mcp` to Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, Claude Code or any app that supports the [Model Context Protocol](https://modelcontextprotocol.io), sign in with your Raff account once, and ask for what you need: "give me a Postgres database for this app", "why is this query slow", "add an index on orders.created\_at". Managed databases come first; apps, functions and servers follow.

## What you can ask

| "Create a free Postgres database for my side project" | Creates it, waits until it accepts connections and gives you the connection string |
| "Show me the tables in my shop database" | Lists the tables and describes their columns |
| "Which queries are slowest, and what index would help?" | Reads the slow query list and suggests an index; adds it if you agree |
| "Upgrade the database to 2 vCPU" | Shows the new monthly price and the card it is paid with, and changes nothing until you confirm |
| "Back up the database, then restore last night's backup into a copy" | Takes a backup and restores into a new database, leaving the original running |
| "How do I connect to Raff Postgres from Prisma?" | Answers from the Raff documentation |
