# Raff Apps pricing

> The price of every Raff Apps size per hour and per month, Postgres for apps, the spend cap, and how monthly and pay-as-you-go billing differ.

Prices are in USD per instance, region US East. An app with three instances costs three times its size's price. HTTPS, custom domains and pull request previews are included. See [Billing model](/products/build/raff-apps/concepts/billing-model).

The monthly price is the hourly price for 730 hours.

## Monthly or pay-as-you-go

On pay-as-you-go, a cron or job app costs only while a run is going, and a paused app costs nothing.

## Postgres for an app

Add a managed PostgreSQL database when you create the app, or link one later. It is billed as a database, on its own.

## Spend cap

| At the cap | Keep apps running and email me | Or pause pay-as-you-go apps |
| Emails | 75%, 90% and 100% of the cap | To account owners and billing contacts |

The cap counts pay-as-you-go instances and the instances of monthly apps above their plan. Monthly plans paid at checkout and databases are not counted.
