1
Open the Queue

Each proposal says what Raff Guardian wants to do, why (for example “Windows updates are waiting and your update schedule is due.”), and “Waiting for your approval” with when it asked. Click Show details for more.

Answer
- Click Approve: “Approved. Raff Guardian starts on it now.”
- Click Not now to decline: “Raff Guardian will not do this one.”
Restoring the pre-update snapshot
When a server does not come back healthy after Windows updates, Raff Guardian proposes to restore the snapshot it took before them. This proposal always asks, in every mode. Approve opens Restore the snapshot?: “Raff Guardian stops the server, puts its disk back to the snapshot taken before the updates and starts it again. Anything written to the disk since then is lost.” Click Restore to go ahead.Stop something that is waiting or running
Each item in the Queue has a stop button:
A few steps cannot be stopped once started, and say so: forcing the server off, a hard restart, setting a new password, and restoring a snapshot.
Stop everything
Click Stop everything on the Queue card. It shows while the Queue has items and Raff Guardian may change the server. The dialog explains: Raff Guardian cancels everything queued, stops what is running as soon as it safely can, and is set to Watch only, so it changes nothing until you choose another option in Settings. It still keeps itself up to date. Click Stop everything to confirm, or Keep going.Verify
The item leaves the Queue. Activity shows the proposal, your answer and, once it ran, the result with what changed.Next steps
