Updated October 11, 2026 Add Raff as a custom connector in Claude, sign in once, and Claude can create and manage your Raff databases in any chat. Works in Claude on the web and in the Claude desktop app.

Before you start

  • A Raff account. A paid database also needs a card in Billing; free databases do not.
  • A Claude plan that allows custom connectors. Free, Pro, Max, Team and Enterprise all do; Free allows one custom connector.
  • On Team or Enterprise, an owner or admin adds the connector for the organization first (see below).

Steps

1

Open connectors

In Claude, open Customize → Connectors, click + Add, then Add custom connector.
2

Enter the Raff server

Click Continue. Claude detects that Raff uses sign-in; keep the detected settings and click Add.
3

Sign in with Raff

Click Connect. A Raff page opens in your browser: sign in, pick the account if you have more than one, and click Allow access.

4

Ask Claude

In a new chat, ask: “List my Raff databases”. Claude calls Raff and answers with your databases.

Team and Enterprise

An organization owner (Team) or an admin with the right role (Enterprise) adds Raff once under Organization settings → Connectors → Add → Custom → Web, with the same name and URL. Each member then opens Customize → Connectors, finds Raff and clicks Connect to sign in with their own Raff account. Members only reach what their own Raff role allows.

Verify

  • The Raff connector shows as connected in Customize → Connectors.
  • Asking “Which Raff database plans are free?” returns the free plan for each engine.

Options

  • Read-only: use https://mcp.rafftechnologies.com/mcp?read_only=true as the URL. See Read-only mode and tool groups.
  • Change the URL later: Claude does not edit connectors. Remove Raff and add it again with the new URL.
