Updated October 11, 2026 Any app that supports remote MCP servers over Streamable HTTP can use Raff. Point it at the server URL and either sign in with Raff in the browser or send a Raff API key as a header.

VS Code with GitHub Copilot

Run MCP: Add Server from the Command Palette, or add Raff to .vscode/mcp.json in your project:
On first use VS Code opens a browser to sign in with Raff. To use an API key instead, let VS Code ask for it once and store it:

Gemini CLI

Then run /mcp auth raff in Gemini CLI to sign in with Raff in the browser. Add -s user to have Raff in every project. Or edit ~/.gemini/settings.json. Use httpUrl (Streamable HTTP), not url:
Browser sign-in needs a local browser. On a server, use a header instead: "headers": { "Authorization": "Bearer raff_your_api_key" }.

Any other app

Look for “remote MCP server”, “custom connector” or “MCP URL” in the app’s settings and enter the URL above. If the app asks for an authentication type, choose OAuth; if it only takes headers, add Authorization: Bearer with a Raff API key.

Verify

Ask the assistant “List my Raff databases”. It answers with your databases, or an empty list on a new account.
